Holistic Eye Care

At the Elysia Therapeutic Centre we have  a team of therapists with specialist knowledge and techniques for helping with a wide variety of Eye problems.

We offer to complement and extend any existing care you may be receiving, with an appropriate combination of targeted therapies and treatments.

Central to our approach is work with a specially trained movement therapist (Brenda Newton: Eurythmy Therapist). She will work with various exercises individually tailored to the needs of the client.

Naturopathy (with Adrian Large) can offer a great deal to identify the underlying causes of health problems. Naturopathy places great emphasis on appropriate adequate wholesome Nutrition for the maintenance of good health. Modern research confirms the importance of this, and has also discovered the role certain key nutrients play in some of the more serious eye conditions. It follows from this that appropriate Nutritional Supplementation will play an important role in any treatment plan.

Other modalities may also be indicated such as phyto-therapy (Herbal Medicine) and potentised medicines (Homeopathy).

Physical therapy may also have a role to play. The integrity of the spine is important, particularly the cervical (neck) vertebrae.

The aim is to remove obstacles to health and to give space to the bodies self healing processes to become effective.
