Mindfulness Course

Every Wednesday for 8 weeks. Starts at 19:00 and ends at 21:00

The MLB 8 week “Mindfulness for Stress and Anxiety” course provides the tools to minimise the incredible impact that stress can have on our lives.

There are eight weekly 2 hour sessions with an opportunity to participate in an all-day practice session which are run throughout the year.

Mindfulness is a scientifically proven method to cultivate clarity, insight and understanding. It helps us recognise habits and unconscious emotional and physical reactions to every day events.

Practising Mindfulness allows us to be fully present in our life and work and improve our quality of life.

An Introduction to Veil Painting

Julie invites you to explore colour and image through the technique of veil painting. Veil painting is more about the process than it is about the end outcome.
No previous painting experience is necessary. All materials & refreshments provided

Exploring Touch – for pain

Saturday 19th May, 10am – 12.30pm

This workshop is for those with fibromyalgia who would like to rediscover their own world of touch through guided, simple and safe exercises. Together we will explore different aspects of touch and experience gentle, therapeutic touch.

The workshop is facilitated by Dr Rainer Klocke, Consultant Rheumatologist and Fiona Sim, Registered Nurse.
Cost: £20 per person. £16 for early booking before 5th May 2018.
