Oasis Group Work

Group Work – Fostering the Life of the Soul

To promote and enable life-changing bridges to be built from one human being to another through facilitated group work.

Combining several anthroposophical therapies, participants are taken upon a journey of self-discovery, of personal narrative, artistic creativity and a deep link with the natural world.

Guided in small groups, participants find a supportive space in which their shared life journeys enrich and, through art, conversation and story telling, new meaning and fulfilment are found. The bonds created in shared endeavour bring richness to everyday life events, and much needed healing for the world and ourselves.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a state of being where we experience the present moment directly and on purpose, without making a judgement of the experience. It focuses the mind on whatever is happening to us “now”. The practice of mindfulness teaches us to experience the present moment fully – literally to “stop and smell the roses”.

Soul-wisdom Workshops

Soul-wisdom means seeing and understanding the living architecture of our inner-life, the way our thoughts, feelings and actions interweave and impact on each other and us as a whole-being.

The Workshops help with personal empowerment in the face of changes and choices you might be facing or want to make in your life.

They can help us understand the dynamics of the soul; how we get stuck with fear, anger or doubt; how we can find authentic ways to make life choices more comprehensible, meaningful and manageable; how understanding choice and purpose enables us to see with new eyes.

Soul-wisdom workshops are for everyone, they help develop skills in relating, leadership and self-leadership.

In the workshops a clear and practical framework for understanding the living architecture of our soul is shared. The workshops use with mindfulness, story-telling and art, through contemplation, sharing and reflection.

The foundational workshop is called Soul’s Choice and is available at the Centre. Further support is available in the form of: Coaching – one-to-one support for life management and goal creation; mentoring – individuals working on Projects; consulting – to leaders and leadership groups in organisations; further soul-wisdom workshops and formal teaching curriculum; public talks and evening workshops

Biographical Counselling

Biographical Counselling is a healing process of working one to one with a counsellor, aimed at opening yourself to new understanding through facing the questions your life-path has set you and finding the inner-resources you need to face your challenges and tasks.

It offers a new perspective on life crisis that takes account of our bodily, soul and spiritual existence, the cycles and rhythms of biographical development and the dynamics of human struggle.

We live in a time when outer supports and securities are falling away while the inner questions of reality come ever more into daily consciousness. We deeply explore our soul-life in order to identify the understanding-patterns that we have developed, some helpful, some unhelpful, in order to choose which serve us best.

An increasing number of people live with existential questions that no other generation has had to face with the same intensity. In the course of their lives, many people confront events, uncertainties and moral dilemmas that leave them feeling lonely and bewildered. They may lose their connection to others, to themselves and to the source of their own potential.

Biographical Counselling is based on an imagination of human potential and challenge in the 21st century that inspires a search for renewed meaning, creativity and connection and links individual development with a path towards social renewal.

I can understand another soul only by transforming my own, as one transforms one’s hand by placing it in another’s. Jung
